THE GENTRY MOTOR CAR COMPANY

CLASSIC LOOKS WITH OLD FASHIONED SERVICE

In order to achieve a good build you will invest an amount of both time and money into the project.  We want to see that both are well spent and that you achieve your goals and produce a car that you can be rightly proud of.

The running gear, engine etc are all taken from your Triumph Donor.

Most of the Gentry's already built on Triumph gear used either the Herald or Spitfire as a donor.

These are still available at a very reasonable price and all parts required for your new Gentry can be obtained either new or reconditioned from several Triumph specialists.

We do try to keep some donor cars in stock so please contact us if looking for a donor.

We would also suggest that you try to find a donor that has all the mechanical parts you will require but has gone beyond economical repair as far as being a useable car is concerned.  We prefer to use cars that would otherwise be scrapped because of their very poor condition.

The kit car industry was after all one of the first recyclers!

A Gentry build is not for the faint hearted.  It will take time and commitment to build your car to a good standard.  It is not simply a case of 'bolting' everything together and driving off!  With our kit you really are building your own car.  There are opportunities for you to vary from the 'standard' design to incorporate your own desires and designs.

So what does it all cost?

Our kit has the front inner wings, front and rear wings aligned and 'fitted' to body tub.

(These may then be loosened slightly to allow for the remainder of the build to be completed)

The bonnet has been finished, fitted and includes the centre chrome strip and end fixings.

The doors have been fitted and include the necessary ‘additional’ door safety lock and audible alarm for ‘rear hung doors’

The Cost is £7,995

Included in the above price is:
